  • What is Silly Hacks?

    Silly Hacks is a 48-hour long, online global hackathon, where you Hack For Fun! Silly Hacks is a platform for you to show your creativity and build something out of the box. At Silly Hacks we are not looking for solutions for a particular problem, it is an open canvas, you are free to paint it however you want.

  • Who can participate?

    This event is open to hackers, all over the world, who are students at the time of the hackathon or who have graduated within the last 12 months. Students can include university undergraduate or postgraduate students, and people who are in vocational training such as apprenticeships. The minimum age requirement for the students is 18 years.

  • How much does it cost?

    Cost? What is that? Silly Hacks is free for everyone to participate. We don't charge a single penny, all we ask is you help us spread some smiles!

  • Do I need to have a team?

    You can hack solo or in a team of max 4. But building something silly in a team is more fun! 😛

  • What's the last date to register for Silly Hacks?

    You can register for Silly Hacks all the way till Silly Hacks begins. But, we have a lot of pre-hackathon activities planned and would love to see you participate in them by registering early!

  • My School/College is not listed on the registration form, what do I do?

    Please select the option called "other".

  • I am participating in a team, how do I register as a Team?

    All the team members should register individually via the Registration Form. Team members must be added to your Devpost Submission for Silly Hacks via the Submission Form.

  • Where can I find the Code of Conduct?

    Being an MLH Member Event we will be following their Code of Conduct.
